The contractors poured the concrete foundations during a warm spell we had in early January but since then a week of frigid temperatures have prevented them from making much more progress. Because the ground is now frozen solid, if the steel posts and structure are constructed on this frozen base, there is a risk that there could be settling once the ground thaws out. We hopefully will get a bit of a break so that the ground can thaw and the structure can go in. At that point the rest of the construction can continue as the workers will try to get the project closed in as they work.
